At the annual meeting of the Taranaki District Law Society bold on Wednesday evening, the following officers were elected for the eissuing year:—• President, Mr. David- Hutchon ; vicepresident, Mr. David Syuie (Eltham) ; treasurer, Mr. A. R. Standisli (reelected); auditor, Mr. R. H. Quilliam (re-elected); council, Messrs. J. B. Roy, A. H. Johnstone, F. E. Wilson, and H. R Billing; representative on tne New Zealand Law Society. Mr. T. Shade; Weston, of Welhaiten.
