A builder named Croulard, living at Champigny, disappeared last week. A friend of Croulard, named Cost, actively assisted in the search, and led Croulard’s dog past a rubbish heap. Tho dog later returned to tho heap and unearthed Croulard’s mutilated body. Croulard’s watch was found amongst Cost’s belongings. Madame Croulard, who planned the murder, and Gost and an accomplice named Lamy, when arrested, confessed to their crime.
