NEW COLLIERY.
IN NEW SOUTH WALES. 8T ELECTEIC TELEGRAPH OOPYEIOHI. (Received March 25, 9.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 25. It is reported that preparations are being mode for opening up a large new colliery at Cessnock. The name of the party financing the scheme has not been divulged. It is believed to bo a wealthy speculator who negotiated the purchase on the same land five years ago of the largest colliery in the Southern Hemisphere.
