BLAZE IN AUCKLAND HOTEL. PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, March 16. A fire was discovered in the Shakespeare Hotel at midnight. The flames burst through the floor of an attic occupied by two waitresses. About thirty persons were sleeping in tho hotel, in addition to the licensee and staff. All escaped in their night attire.
