AUSTRALIAN POLITICS.
SPEECH BY FEDERAL PREMIER. DT' KUtOnUO TELEGRAPH. —COPYRIGHT. (Received. March 16, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, March 16. Mr. Cook, speaking at Sandringham, said he considered Mr. Holman’s figures concerning the light taxation, of New South Wales a piece of sheer political effrontery. There never was a more hollow mockery than to assert that three years of Labour rule has given us industrial peace. Labour rule has been signalised by a fratricidal policy of striking and the creation of class hatred, which is increasing in this State to-day. Tins feeling has and will reduce the effectiveness of working man’s wages.
