RAILWAY ACCIDENT.

CHARGE AGAINST THE DRIVER. BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.—COPYRIGHT. (Received Sept. 16, 0.10 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 15. Neil Fullerton, driver, and William Doherty, fireman, were charged with causing the St. Rabane railway accident by excessive speed. Three witnesses gave evidence that Doherty was drunk and one said that Fullerton appeared to be drunk. Tho estimated speed of tho train on entering the station was forty miles an hour. [An excursion train was travelling round a curve at excessive speed and the engine and some carriages left tho lino and went over an embankment.]
