GOLD MINING.
For the period ending August 30, the JVaihi Gold Mining Company treated 11,721 tons of ore for a return of £26,089. Tile total amount won from the mine to date is £10,332,823. The return of the Crown Mines for August was £2285 from 1355 tons, making the total won to date £863,067. ■
