Reece has accepted-Gray’s challenge, provided there are two games, one with benzoline balls and the other with ; ivory. (Received Sept. 13, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 12. Reece, in accepting tho challenge, - -stipulates that the first-match shall be according to Gray’s terms, and a second with ivory balls on level terms. A third shall be played in which the player with the highest aggregate shall choose the balls. If benzoline is selected Gray is to concede 2000. The winner is to take 60 per cent, of the gate. Tho stakes are to be £IOO a-side for each game, or £3OO on tho rubber. GRAY CHALLENGED. (Received Sept. 13, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 12. Stevenson offers to concede Gray 2000 in 20,000 -for £IOO or £2OO aside.
