THE CAFE SCANDAL.

In connection with the recent raids on a cafe, it is alleged that certain constables who were on duty outside the cafe had entered the premises in order to secure free suppers. As a result of the inquiry the three constables were fined £3, and two others 30s. A black mark was also placed- on their record sheets.
