GOVERNMENT GRANTS ALLOCATED. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH. July 1. At a meeting of tho Council of tho New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association £IOO of the competitive portion of the Government grant was allocated as follows:—Auckland £l2 10s, Canterbury £2ll, Hawke s Pay £l f >j Nelson £lO, Otago £l2 10». South Canterbury £5, Wellington £ls, Westland £5, arid Wanganui £ls. Tho £l3O of the life-saving portion of tho Government grants was allocated as follows, for each of tho 1010-11 and 1!)] 1-12 seasons; —Auckland (head centre R.L.S.S.) £ls each season, Canterbury £22 10s and £2l, Hawke’s Day £2O and’£lo, Nelson £lO for each season, Otago £2O and £l9, South Canteibur’v Centre N.Z.A.S. £5 for each seasom Wellington £2O and £l9, Wanganui £l7 10s and £l7. Westland Centro N.Z.A.S.A. £5 for 1911-12 season. it was resolved that in cases whore the head centres of tho R.L.S.S. have given written authority to the Association for their amounts to bo ionvurded to the Dominion executive of the R L.S.S. the cheques bo made payable to tho order of each head centre that given such authority niKi forwardod to the Dominion executive. It was decided that the next championship meeting be held at Blenheim.
