NEWSPAPER SUED.
BY MOKAU COMPANY. For Press Association. PALMERSTON N„ May 3. Messrs. Longhnan and Jacobs, solicitors, under instructions from the Mokau Coal and Estates Company, have filed a writ against tho Dominion newspaper, claiming damages for slander of title, alleged to be contained in an advertisement which was inserted in its issue of May 2, by Joshua Jones, respecting tho Moka-u Estate.
