SCHOOL COMMITTEES.

TARATA. (Special to Herald.) TARATA, April 30. The Tarata school committee is as follows:—Messrs, Fougero, Ludcmann Street, Waite, and Standish (chairman). CARRINGTON. There was a fair attendance at the Carrington Road schoolroom. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £7 10s Bd, which was passed as very satisfactory, especially when the many improvements effected to 'the grounds during the -year ' were considered. Messrs. Binme (chairman), Beanchamp, Fetch and Gilbert, and Mrs. Gilbert were electel for the ensuing year. UPPER URUTI. At Upper Uruti the committee’s annual balance-sheet was considered most satisfactory. Mr. C. Barnitt was reelected chairman, and secretary, with Messrs. Murray, Guscott, Alpe, and Old making up the committee. TAIUJRUTANGI. There were nine householders present at Tarurutangi when Messrs. F. Bishop (chairman), G. M. Longstaff, (secretary), J. F. Giddy, A.' Street, E. Marsh, R. Street, and Nitz were elected. OAKURA. Messrs. W K. Morris (chairman), J. Healy, H. Gordon, F. C. Mace, P. H. Mace, G. A. Adlam, and Gowers wore appointed here. MANGAHUMB. Messrs. W. F. Coorahridge (chairman and secretary), J. Warner, C. Warner, L. Eustace, and J. Cox were elected, Mr. C. Warner operating the banking account with the chairman. DENBIGH. An attendance of seventeen householders was recorded at Denbigh Road, and Messrs. W. T. Mills (re-elected chairman), W. Walker, A. Mills, H. Huckstep, and D. Walker were elected. AWATUNA. Messrs. W. Tobock (chairman), T. Huckstep (secretary and treasurer), J. Correy, H. Korto, R. Farquhar, P. Phillips, and W. Townsend were appointed at Awatuna. RADNOR. Messrs. A. Keightley (re-elected chairman and secretary), John Vickers, George Crowe, F. G. Taylor, and H. Hopkins were duly declared elected. STRATFORD. At the Stratford school, Mr. P. Skoclund was appointed chairman, and Messrs. S. Clark, T. C. Fookes, E. W. Hancock, E. Jackson, J. W. B. Jones, G. Smart and J. Staples were elected, with Mr. T. Harry Penn as secretary. PUNIHO. Messrs. A. W. Wells (chairman), J. A Thomas (secretary and treasurer!, W. Grant, M. Hill, W. Bell, P. Tangahoo and F. Gable were elected at Punlh° - HUIRANGI. Messrs. F. Y. Andrews (chairman), J. H. Smith, S. Sarten, J. Nicoll, P. Surrey and F. Loveridge, and Mrs. Turnbull were appointed at Huirangi. DUDLEY ROAD. Messrs. Henry Codd (chairman), J. Brereton (secretary), J. Hodges, D. Egarr, J. Goble, J. Williamson and C. Broadmore were elected. RAUPUHA. Messrs. T. A. Bocock (chairman), J. V. Shield (sec. and treas.), R. H. Gatenby, J. W. Burkitt, H. Neilson, W. Colson and W. B. Smith were appointed for the ensuing year. WAITUI. Messrs. R. T. Williams (chairman), M. Sattler (secretary), S. Fagan, C. Schrieber, W. P. Bishop, H. Blackburn and C. Shuttleworth were elected at Waitui. RAHOTU. Messrs. A. F. Chapman (chairman), F. Ward (secretary), A. Neilson, A! D. Fielder, G. Tylee, T. Fleming and H. Phillips were appointed at Rahotu. KORITO. Messrs. J. Houlahan (chairman), Allen, Olson, Keast and Williams, and Mesdames Ansford and Williams were elected. ,
