NEAV PLYMOUTH CLUB. EASTER TOURNAMENT. The Now Plymouth Golf Club’s Easter tournament was commenced this morning on tho club’s new 18-hule links at Wuiwakniho. At 0 o’clock the weather looked threatening and at about noon tho rain came down very heavily. The grass aas rather long in some places, hut that did not affect the play to any extent. Tho number, of competitors this year. 83. constitutes a record. the previous beat living 56. The visitors from all parts of tho Island, commented very favourably qu tho good condition of the links, considering that Easter falls unusually early this year.
