GOOD TEMPLARS.

The local members of the Order have made complete arrangements for the entertainment of officers and representatives to the biennial session which sits in Now Plymouth next week. Tho session begins its operations tomorrow (Sunday) with a church parade at which members will walk in regalia from tho hall in Courtenay Street to tho Presbyterian Church in Devon Street. Members will assemble in the hall at 10.30 a.m. In tho evening after church hours a gospel temperance meeting will be hold at 8.15 in the Good Templar Hall. Short addresses will be given by visiting brethren. On Monday tho representatives are invited by Messrs. Sole Bros, to visit Aotea, and tickets have been supplied for the East End picnic. The Juvenile Lodge meets at 6 p.m., and the visitors are to be formally welcomed by tho Egmont Lodge at 7' p.m.< At 8 p.m. a civic welcome will be tendered to representatives and friends by his Worship tho Mayor. Speakers on behalf of tlie No License League, 1.0. R., Local Ministers’ Association, and W.C.T.U. will give short adddesses. Songs, recitations and musical items will also be rendered. This Monday evening’s function null bo open to tho public free. All persons are given a hearty invitation to bo present at what will prove a most interesting, instructive and pleasing function. On Tuesday tho Grand Lodge opens in a session extending till 12 noon on Thursday, after which a visit will be paid to the oil wells at Moturoa, aml a grand entertainment will bo held in the hall at 8 p.m. Friday will see the concluding session of tho Grand Lodge.
