SENIOR CADETS.

WASTING A COURT’S TIME. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 19. Three Senior Cadets were charged at the Magistrate’s Court with interrupting a parade. Each pleaded not guilty, and denied interfering with the parade. They admitted that some hilarity was caused by the issue of short trousers, most of. which were much too large for the wearers. “These are offences which I characterise as minor breaches of discipline, and as such should be dealt With at the time in .the. drill hall,” said Mr. Riddell, S.M. “I think it is ridiculous that they should be brought before a criminal court, thus wasting the time of the court,” He entered a conviction against the youths, but inflicted no penalty.
