BOARD OF APPEAL.

FOR THE PUBLIC SERVICE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, March 20. Notice that an election will be held for the purpose of electing members of the Public Service Board of Appeal appears in the Gazette.. The election will be held on Monday, May 4, at Wellington. The poll closes at 5 p.m. A ballot will be taken of officers of the postal branch of the Post and Telegiaph Department for the election of one of their number. Similarly the Telegraph branch will also select a member. A separate ballot of' the remaining officers of the Public Service will be held for the election of two of their number. Nominations are to be made on forms obtainable from the secretary' of the commission and must reach the returning officer by noon on Saturday, April 5. Lists close 'then. F.ach nomination must bear the signed consent to nomination of the candidate. Officers of the Post and Telegraph Department to be eligible must be nominated by at least three officers of the same branch as themselves. Others are to be nominated by at least three officers of the service other than those of the Post and Telegraph Department.
