In the Marconi libel case plaintiffs denied the allegations. ■ Mr. Isaacs stated that he bought in April ten thousand shares in the American Marconi Company, which was not financially interested in the British Company, of which he was a director, and sold a thousand each to Mr. Lloyd George and the Master of Elibank. He lost £I2OO over the deal and the others a few hundreds each. Defendants made a complete withdrawal of the charges, and judgment was given for plaintiffs with costs.
