EVERYAVOMAN. On Monday night the much discussed spectacular dramatic success “Everywomaii” will be presented for the first and only time to playgoers of New Plymouth at the Theatre Royal. 'The, triumphs achieved by "Everywoman” in the Dominion are on a parallel with the success which attended Mr. 11. B. Irving on his recent tour. "Evorywoman” is the kind of play that appeals to every section of the community, as during the unfolding of an intensely interesting story, containing some big dramatic situations, the audience is at the same time gazing on elaborate stage settings, magnificent scenery, beautifully dressed damsels, whilst throughout the piece a full orchestra plays melodious music, which was specially written for "Everywoman” by Goorgc Whitefeild Chadwick, Playgoers will be glad to welcome the brilliant actress. Miss Hilda Sponp. who created a sensation in Australia by her interpretation of "Everywoman.” Tne life progress of the heroine, from the shelter of her happy home to the not and revelry of a theatrical career, thenco to inevitable disillusionment and sorrow, and finally to the quiet circle within winch true love and happiness await her repentant return, is followed with the keenest interest in tbe ideals of the story and in the moral lesson it conveys. Mr. William Desmond, who will make his reappearance here in the role of N’obodv. has already earned distinction in New Zealand by meritorious performances. The box plans are now open at Colliers’. The company will arrive here on Monday morning from Auckland.
