A STABBING CASE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 19. A man mimed Harry Sandqw was stabbed in a hotel bar tnis evening, receiving superficial wounds in the neck, nose and ear. At Blacks to-day, Stanley Charles Hiigendorf was charged witn stealing£4o, and Michael Begley with receiving .£2O, the property of the''Postal Department. Hiigendorf pleaded guftty and was committed for sentence, ■ but Begley pleaded not guilty and was committed lor trial. Loth were admitted io bail in their own recognisance of £75 each and two sureties oi a similar amount. A BOY’S SUICIDE. ' NAPIER, April 20. The wounds are not regarded as serious. <A man named John Daniel O’Neill, arrested on the charge of stabbing Ratter, appeared before the court to-day and was remanded till Wednesday next.
