SCARCITY OF IRON.
DOCKYARD MEN DISMISSED. By Electric Telegraph,—Copyright. (Received April 19, 10.40 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 19. Fifty boilermakers have been dismissed from the Government dockyards owing to the absence of sufficient iron of the character required. Work has been resumed at the Lithgow blast furnaces.
