SPORTS AT THE CAMP.

The following is the programme of the sports meeting which will bo held on April 24 at the camp of the ,11th Regiment on the Hawera racecourse:— 1. Battalion race, 100yds. 2. Relay race, one round of the course. 3. Battalion raco, one mile. 4. Mixed boot race. 5. Sack race. 6. Battalion race, a quarter of a mile. 7. Obstacle race. 8. Tilting the bucket. 9. Officers’ race, 120yds., compulsory. 10. Pap and bun race. 11. Pillow fighting on the spar. 12. Battalion race, half-mile. 13v Physical drill competition, one N.C.O. and twenty men constitutes a team. 14. Squad drill, team as above. 15. Rifle exercises competition, team as before. 16. Tug-of-war, teams of eight with skipper. ___________
