Miss Ada Ward, the actress-evangelist, concluded a week.’® mission at the Scots’ Church by announcing her decision to return to the stage. Sho stated that she could never erase from her mind the unkind way in which she had been treated by professing Christians. Since she left the stage sho had led a desperately lonely life and could bear it no longer. She would return to her dear theatrical people, who were noble and generous.
