The suffragettes in Chicago are bitterly opposing Mr. Roosevelt’s candidature in consequence of his attitude towards rvomen’s suffrage, against wdiich he spoke during the Illinois State elections. Mr. Roosevelt carried almost twothirds of the 76 delegates in Pennsylvania State Republican Convention. Dr. Woodrow W'ilson secured most of the Democratic support.

The total delegates supporting Mr. Taft are 340, and Mr. Roosevelt 190.
