Sidney Pardon WTiting in tho Sunday Times says:—“Promoters of tho triangular contest arc confronted with tho risk of failure, nobody seriously believes that Australia has found adequate substitutes for those remaining behind. Australia has produced only ono Trumper and Armstrong and Hansford wore the two best bats in Victoria, Hansford having no equal anywhere.
South Africa will also be handicapped by the absence of Percy Shorwell and Vogler. Mr. Pardon predicts that Bnrdsley will be tho best batsman in the Australian team.
