LONDON, April 14

The miners at Leigh, Lancashire, entertained the soldiers sent to maintain order. The soldiers to-day marched to church, headed by the Leigh naval and army veterans and a band.

Two hundred enginemen at Bargold have resumed work. The enginemen at Cwyman colliery, Aberdare, are resuming work to-morrow. Tho district committee of the Transport Workers’ Federation and tho executive of the Dockers’ Union passed resolutions denouncing irresponsible statements of tho possibility of a general strike of transport workers early in the summer,.and added that they did not intend to discuss the question. PRICE OF COAL PALLING. LONDON, April 13. The price of coal in London has fallen ten shillings.
