HOW IT ORIGINATED. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. MADRID, April 12. The mistaken reference to tho Pope originated in an official at the Papal nunciature receiving a telegram announcing his father’s death, worded, “Papa ha muerto.” The telegraphic authorities informed Don Jose Canalejas, tho Premier, that the Pope was dead, and ho told tho journalists.
