The Italians hoodwinked the Turks by moans of a feint near Enzuar, under cover of battle ships, which shelled large bodies of Turks, who wore preparing to resist a supposed landing. Meanwhile the other battle ships escorted a large convoy of transports to the Libyan coast, where they were disembarked.
