The lodge of the Independent Order of Good Templars adopted a resolution rejoicing at tho splendid result of the New Zealand prohibition vote, regarding it as a most significant object-lesson, showing that the people were ready to face the direct issue, liquor or no liquor, in, preference to the lessor issue of local option. ’ '
