The stewards of the Irish Turf Club have decided that the circumstances of tho Irish railway strike did not justify the Leopardstown Jockey Club’s executive in abandoning the first day’s meeting, and withdrew tho club’s license for tho remainder of 1911. It also fined tho clerk of the course £IOO for not taking adequate steps to consult oho local stewards, and ordered the club to defray all the expenses of owners, trainers and jockeys in connection with the races fixed for the 19th inst.
