INSANITARY CEMETERY.
UNPLEASANT DISCLOSURES. By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. (Received July 15, 10.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 15. The Health Officer has made serious disclosures regarding the administration of Rookwood Cemetery. He reported that some bodies had been buried less than three feet from the surface, and that the leakage from the graves flowed into the cattle sale yards. A’monumental sculptor states that he could point to graves containing as many as seven bodies.
