PERSONAL.
Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Shirley are at present in New Plymouth, Staying at the White Hart Hotel. Among the successful candidates at the annual class examinations at Victoria College arc Ronald H. Quilliom, J. Bullard, K. Munro (Stratford), and P, O. Grey. Air. Albert E. Eastwood is in town making preliminary arrangements for the appearance of the Bceho Balloon Company at the Recreation Sports Ground on November 24. Mr. C. F. Day, station-master at New Plymouth, who is away on holiday, has boon visiting the Cold Lakes, accompanied by Mrs. Day. Mr. and Mrs. Day aro at present in Hnwko s Bay, after a short visit to Wanganui.
