FALL OFF A TRAIN. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 24. Inquiries into the circumstances of the death of Francis Emil Molson, whose body was found alongside the railway line near Heathcote yesterday, show that he was last seen alive by two men named William Whitford and Herbert Seed, who noticed him at aoout 9.45 p.m. on Saturday as ho was walking towards the Lyttelton railway station, apparently with the intention of returning to Woolston by the 9.45 p.m. train. As far as is known no one noticed the man after that, but it is surmised that he was sitting on one of the carriage platforms and fell off shortly after the train left the Heath-, cote station. An inquest was held this evening, and a verdict of accidental death through falling off a train was returned. A SAD CASE. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 24. Inquiries are being made by detectives into the circumstances of the death of a young woman. It appears that she was prematurely delivered of a child, and subsequently the services of a medical man were obtained. He ordered her removal to the Christchurch Hospital, where she was admitted on October 15. Blood-poisoning supervened, and the woman died yesterday. A report will be made to the District Coroner, who will then decide whether an inquest is necessary. A DOCTOR INJURED. NELSON. Oct. 24. Dr. Dock fell from his motor-cycle while crossing the Takaka hills to-day, and sustained a fractured leg. A BUSH ACCIDENT. NELSON, Oct. 24. A man named Edward Hoult, a saw miller employed at Bolgrove, had a narrow escape.from death on Saturday. He was working with a bullock team, dragging logs through the bush when a tri.e foil, pinning the man and a bullock to the ground. The bulk of the bullqck saved Hoult’s life, and he escaped with a very severe, shaking.
