ANNUAL REPORT. Tho report of tho Taranaki Land, Building and Investment Society (Permanent), to be laid before the annual meeting to bo held on October 31, is as follows : The directors have the honour of placing the forty-fifth annual report and balance sheet before the members for the year ended September 30, 1910. The directors have again to congratulate the shareholders on tho successful results of the business transacted during tho past year; AW and AX series have been paid off during the year. A dividend of 10 per cent, and a bonus of 2£ per cent, have been declared (the borrowing and investing members participating on equal terms), making a total distribution of 121 per cent, for the year, this being precisely the same as last year. The not amount available for distribution (including the balance brought forward from last year) is £2372 os Id, which lias boon apportioned as follows; (1) By placing Io the credit of all members, borrowing and investing, a dividend equal to 10 per cent, and a bonus, of 2f per cent, (including profits allotted to AAA T and AX series, matured during tho year), £2147 8s lid; (2) to the credit of reserve fund, £100; leaving to be carried forward to next account, £124 IGs 2d. In accordance with Rule 82. Alessrs. N. King and T. K. Skinner retire from tho directorate, but are eligible and offer themselves for rc-elcction. Tho auditors, Alessrs. Hugh Daily and E. K. Tribe, also retire, but offer themselves for ro-olcction.
