WELLINGTON RACING CLUB. SECOND DAY. Per Press Association WELLINGTON, Oct. 23. The second day of the Wellington Racing Club’s spring mooting was concluded in showery weather. Light rain commenced early, and continued all day, the attendance consequently suffering. Lord Islington ami party attended the meeting. The going was soft and against fast times. Tho totalisator investments for the day wore £14,503, against £13,608 last year, making a total of £24,361 for the meeting, compared with £24,297 for last year s meeting. Lady Medallist led Danube into the straight by two lengths and a half, and half a furlong from the post the Martian colt put in a great spurt, and beat Prosser’s filly by a length.
