“DOROTHY.” : I Interest ■ strong and deep seems to have been created by tho New Plymouth Operatic Society in their rehearsals of “Dorothy,” and everybody seems to bo looking forward to November 3 and 4, tho dates fixed on by tho society for tho production of this popular opera. As will be seen in another column, tho cast of characters is a veiy strong one, tho principal Now Plymouth talent being engaged, and added .to this a chorus of sixty porformers-and an orchestra of twenty all tends..to make the season a very successful one. Tho box plan will bo opened at Collier s on Thursday morning next at 8.30 o’clock. Country patrons wishing to reserve seats may do so by wilting and enclosing money for same.

Members of the society and orchestra are reminded of tho full rehearsal this (Monday) evening at 7.30 at tho Theatre Royal.
