The Rev. O. F. R; Harrison, vicar of AVaiuku, has been appointed vicar of AVaitnra, succeeding the Rev. J. B. Brocklohurst, who has been appointed to Whangarei. Tho Rev. Mr. _ Harrison will bo instituted early in April. The Rev. I. Jolly, MiA., was in Palmerston tho other day, after Ins holiday, which included on ascent of Mount Egmont! on the day upon which three were lost. Mr. Jolly found the mountain trip a delightful experience. Archdeacon Cole, who arrived in New Plymouth from Auckland on Monday, returned north by tho Rarawa last evening. The Archdeacon has been a frequent visitor to Now Plymouth since his removal to Auckland, ana on Monday made his 112th trip on this const. '■■Mr. H. R. Robinson, Receiver of Land Revenue at Now Plymouth, has received notice of transfer to Napier on promotion. Mr. A. J.
