AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
The secretary of the local club has received word from the Wellington Centre of the N.Z.A.A.A, that M. B. Ward has been selected to represent New Plymouth and Wellington at tho T\ T ow Zealand championships in Auckland on the 26th inst. The handicaps for the running events for to-morrow night’s electric light meeting at 'tho Recreation Sports Ground will appear to-morrow. They wore not available to-day.
