Inglewood sent three rinks to Hawera on Thursday and sustained defeat by 70 to 44. ' There was a very close contest for the championship of the Patoa Club between A; Id. ilowitt and T. Campbell. At the twenty-first bead the score was 20 all and an additional head had to be played, resulting in a single point win for Campbell.
