The veins already tapped have been shut off so that the oil • from those cannot follow the drill down, and tins will enable Mr. Keith to accurately test the vield of the next vein he strikes. ‘There is still a very strong pressure of gas between the casings. At No. 3 drilling is also proceeding satisfactorily.
