VISIT OF H.M.S. PEGASUS.
SUGGESTED PROGRAAIAIE. His Worship the Alayor, Air. G. Tiseh, has wired as follows to tho captain of the Pegasus:—“Suggest following programme for your approval: Monday morning, official visit; afternoon, officers entertained drive and shooting match ; evening, officers entertained dinner by Navy League, men by local volunteers. Tuesday, seaside picnic, excursion to war ship; evening, public reception and naval display and sports. Wednesday, entertained at Taranaki races.” The commander replied thanking the Alayor and concurring in all the arrangements. Air. M. G. Williams, secretary of tho New Plymouth Cricket Club, has wired to the captain of the Pegasus, suggesting an all-day match on Tuesday next.
