WRESTLING.
HACKENSCHMIDT CHALLENGED, Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Feb. 9. R. J. Scott, of Stratford, champion wrestler of Australasia, has deposited a cheque for £SO with the editor of the New Zealand Times for a- wrestling match with Hackcnscluhidt. Articles had been signed for a match in Dunedin, but Scott desires to wrestle in Wellington now, as Hackenschmidt’s southern tour has been abandoned. Preliminaries will be arranged to-mor-row.
