WEST'S PICTURES. A splepdid programme is always to be expected from West's Pictures, and, expectations are always realised. The programme presented in the Theatre Royal last night was well up to the high standard set by the company, every film being a gem of its class. An especial feature of last night's show was the number of very fine instructive and scenic films exhibited. -But variety was not lacking. Splendid "trick" films were shown, while the comic pictures were exceedingly laughable. The average picture entertainment is apt to become monotonous, but West's Pictures are entirely free from this fault. Frcinness and variety, as well as naecha lijol excellence, are always outstanding features of their entertainments. This afternoon a matinee perform* ate was given.
