There was a smalt entry of pullets, and those offered sold well. Prices are as follow n— Hens (ordinary), Is sd, Is Bd, Is 9d, Is lOd and 2- Id ; pullets, 2s 4d, 2s 7d and 2s lid ; cooker els, 1« 6d, Is 9d and 2s ; chickens, 5d and 8d ; roosters Is 4d and Is 9d ; purebred roosters, 6s to lls ; ducks Is 6d to Is 9d. Fruit. — Apples (bushels) 7s 8d to 8s 6d, pears (over ripe) 5s 9d to 7s Gd, bananas 6s to 9s 6d, oranges 7a 6d to 9s 6d, lemons 8s case, passion fruit 3s 6d to 4s, walnuts 5Jd lb.
