Mr. Newton King in his sale report states : At Urenui on Monday weaners made 15s 6d to £1 2s, 15 to 18-month steers £2 Is to £2 9s 6d, empty heifers £1 14s to £2, in-calf heifers £3 4s, springing heifers £4 7s 6d to £4 12s, store cows £2 7s to £2 9s, forward cows £2 14s to £3 Bs, fat cows £4 ss, fat heifers £4 2s to £4 8s 6d, 2-year steers £2 13s 6d to £3 Is, bulb £1 10s, gtag £2 13s, full mouth ewes 10s. At Rahotu on Tuesday weaners made 12s to £1 Is, 18-month steers £2 os, empty heifers £1 16s to £2 4s, in-calf heifers £3 5s to £4, springing heifers £3 17s 6d to £5, store cows £2 to £2 Bs, forward cows £2 17s to £3 Bs, fat cows £4 sa, bulb £1 15s to £2 10s. At Waiwakaiho on Thursday there was a full yarding of cattle and a bin attendance of buyers and nearly everything was quitted at the hammer at the following rates: — Weaners 13s to £1 Is 6d, empty heifers £1 12s to £'2 •5s 6d, in calf heifers £3 7s to £4, do. small £2 10s to £2 13s 6d, forward luifers £3 5s to £3 16s, springing heifors £4 17s 6d to £5 15s, store cows £1 lls | to £2 15s, forward cows £3 Is to £3 J 10s. cows in calf £2 2s 6d to £3 12-,, springing cows £4 to £5 10s, fat cows £4 7b 6d to £4 lls, three year stei-is £3 6s to £3 17s, bulls £1 8s to £2 UU.
