Abraham and 'Williams, Ltd., report ns follows: — yVe held our usual monthly sale on Fiiday and a catalogue comprising 50 bales and bags of wool, 1400 skins, 60 calf skins and 450 largo hides and usual quantities of tallow and sundries was offered to a good attendance of buyers. Wool and skins sold readily but hides wero dull of naloi Tho whole dataloguo, however, was sold at prices which compare- favourably with late sales. Quotations- — Wopl: Crossbred medium 43d to Gd lambs 5Jd to 6,1, locks 2Jd to 23d, dead 4|d to Sd, black 43d, pieces 3d, 3id to sid. Skins: Crossbred medium s?d, inferior SJd to 4Jd, lambs 4Jd 42d to. 6id, quarter wools 5Jd, half I wools 52d, pelts 3}d to 4Jd, crossbred at per piece 3s to 3s 7d, lambs at per piece Is Bd, Is lid to 3s Id, green 2s Cd to 3s 7d each, salted to 3s Bd. Hides: Ox, heavy, averaging 73 lbs. at 7d per lb., equal to £1 '19s Id, others 6}d per lb., medium ox 52d to sgd, light 5d to sgd, cow heavy 4|d to sj|d, medium 5d to Old, light 4gd to sd, heifers 43d, steers 4Jd, horses 6s 3d each, bulls 4id, stags 43d. Sundries: Tallow, tins 18s 6d per cwt, casks £22 6s to £22 10s pc/ ton, cowtails Is 2d per dozen.
