(Special to Herald.) PALMERSTON N., March 26. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., Palmerston North, report:— \ On Thursday we had a full yarding of all classes of ito'ek. There was a l^rge attendance and competition for sound breeding ewes and good lambs was keen. Very little -energy existed for steeds or £rowu bullocks; All other lines sold readily and a good clearance was made at the following quotations :, — 4 ' and 6-tooth ewes 12s 6d, 2-tooth ewes 10s 4d to 10s 6d, mixed age. ewes 7s 9d to 9s lid, f.mj ewes 6s to 8s 6d, aged ewes 4s to 5s 3d, cull ewes 3s to 3s 6d, forward lambs 7s Id to 7s 9d, cull lambs 4s 3d to 5s 7d, 2,-tooth wethers 8s 2d to 8s 6d, 2-tooth black-face ewes 9& Id,' Shr9pshire rams £2 2s to £2 9s, Ronihey rams H to 1J guineas, 2j-year steers £3 Is to £3 4s 6d, '2-year steers £2 10s to £.2 18s, fat cows £3 12s 6d to £4, forward cows £3 to £3 ss, store. cow« 35s to £2 Is, forward empty heifers 36s tp £2 ss; heifers in calf £2 7s '6d to £3 18s, springing heifers £5 -2s 6d, 15-months Steers 30s, bulls £2 5s to £3 10s.
