OUTBREAK AT GORE

QORE, March 24. •A fire occurred this evening in a drapery store, the property of Simon M 'Donald, but it was subdued before much damage was done to the building Tho stock was destroyed chief ly by water. The stock of Samuel M'Donald. an Invercargill bootmaker, who occupied a portion of the building, was damaged to some extent. The insurances are: Simon M'Donald on the building- £550, fittings £100 stock £800, the damage being- estimated at £1200 over that, amount. Samuel M 'Donald had £1500 on his stock. The offices are not available.
