At the Horticultural Society's Colonial Exhibition the New Zealand Government Avas awarded a silver medal ior cold-stored apples and a bronze medal ior honey ; Kirkpatrick and Coy. (Nelson) a silver medal for jams, etc. ; the Hokianga Co-operative Company and Clarke Brothers (Whangarei) bronze medals for preserves. The New South AVales Government won a silver medal for dried fruits.
