BULGARIA AND TURKEY
DISPUTE OVER TRIBUTE
(Received Oct. 24, 8 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, Oct. 23. The Grand A 7 izier, Kaimil Pasha, insists that Bulgaria must furnish compensation to Turkey for the cessation of the Eastern Rounielian tribute. M. Malinoff, _ however, declares that the proclamation of independence involved the cessation of the payment of tribute.
