Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 12. The Otago-Auckland football match was played to-day at Alexandra 'Parjk, under ideal weather conditions, in the presence of some 3000 spectators. Half-time was called shortly afterwards. Auckland had the better of the play on resumption, but Ivemey and Fitzr patrick broke through the ruck, aided by Eckhold, and as the result of a forward scramble , McDonald scored Otago's first try. Paton goaled. Auckland 11 Otago 5 Mr Rowe, of Wellington, refereed.
